OUR HISTORY
Ambassador Productions Ltd. originated in Belfast, Northern Ireland, in January 1980. The company's founder, Dr. Samuel Lowry, recognized the need for a Christian publishing enterprise dedicated to publishing a wide spectrum of Christian literature that magnified Jesus Christ and encouraged believers. Ambassador Productions soon became known for its extensive series of Christian biographies and Classic Christian reprints. The company also began releasing many new titles each year including theological, devotional, inspirational, historical, church hymnals, and reference works. In addition to Ambassador's extensive book publishing line, the company has also engaged in the production of videos, calendars, cards, and pictures for the Christian market place. Ambassador also produces a number of Christian magazines and periodicals.
Ambassador Productions quickly grew to become a major publishing house in the British Isles, with distribution in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore. In 1995, an affiliated company, Emerald House Group Inc., was founded in the United States in Greenville, South Carolina. A few years later, Emerald House Group Inc. added a graphic design company, A&E Media, responsible for much of the publishing company's design requirements.
Over the years, Ambassador has enjoyed long-standing relationships with its authors. Many authors have been with the company from its inception and have written in excess of twenty books. These authors include pastors, professors, and laymen. Ambassador has also published many first-time authors.
OUR MISSION
Ambassador-Emerald Intl. exists to magnify the Lord Jesus Christ and promote His gospel through the written word. We are committed to the truths of Christ's gospel including the inerrancy of the Bible, the creation and fall of man, the virgin birth of Christ, His vicarious atonement and bodily resurrection, His exaltation to God's right hand, the justification of the sinner by faith alone, and Christ's second coming in glory. We believe that through the publication of Christian literature, Jesus Christ and His Word will be exalted, believers will be strengthened in their walk with Him, and the lost will be directed to Jesus Christ as the only way of salvation.
OUR GOAL
Ambassador-Emerald seeks to produce quality books for the widest possible market distribution through excellence in editorial and design work. We wish to maintain mutually beneficial relationships with our authors and customers.
